Somehow, all things happen for a reason. They truly do. A few years ago, I started working for a company where every colleague felt like a lifelong friend. After I left that company, I indeed remained friends with many people from there. Dan is one of them. So when he reached out and invited us to photograph his wedding in Madison, WI, we packed our bags right away.
If you look through these pictures, you'll see that everyone's genuine emotions truly speak for themselves. From the very first look till the end of the night, Fran and Dan couldn't keep their eyes off each other. And I hope they never will.
My favourite part of this wedding was this. Dan wanted to trick people into going to the dancefloor. He hoped that, once they're on the dancefloor, they'd remain there and naturally start dancing. He forgot who he was dealing with. His friends and family needed no trickery - even before he tried to lure them all to the dancefloor, they were already there, already dancing like nobody was watching. And that alone speaks volumes about the kind of wedding this was. Let's just say - we may or may not have run around the Wisconsin State Capitol building at 4 am that night.
